Effective October 3, 2026. Last updated October 3, 2026. Questions: [email protected], (360) 719-5660.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Website Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Skyline Transport Group LLC ("Skyline", "we", "us" or "our") governing your use of shipskyline.com and its pages, forms, tools and chat assistant (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you use the Site on behalf of a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Use of the Skyline platform, our transportation management system and customer portal, is governed by the Platform Terms.
2. Who may use the Site
The Site is intended for businesses and for adults at least 18 years old. You agree to give accurate information and to use the Site only for lawful purposes.
3. Freight services are governed by separate agreements
Skyline operates as a motor carrier and as a licensed property broker, USDOT 2363186. Transportation services are provided only under a signed broker-shipper agreement, broker-carrier agreement, rate confirmation, bill of lading or other written agreement (each a "Freight Agreement"). Nothing on the Site is an offer to transport, a binding rate quote, a guarantee of capacity, pickup or transit time, or an amendment to any Freight Agreement. A rate is binding only when stated in a rate confirmation or other written agreement signed or accepted by Skyline. If anything on the Site conflicts with a Freight Agreement, the Freight Agreement controls.
Liability for loss of or damage to cargo is governed by the applicable Freight Agreement, bill of lading and federal law, including 49 U.S.C. 14706 where it applies, and not by these Terms.
4. Forms and submissions
When you submit a quote request, contact form, call-back request, carrier setup packet, job application or newsletter sign-up, you represent that the information is accurate, that it is yours or that you have the right to provide it, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights. You may not use the forms to submit another party's information without authority, to send or change banking or payment instructions, to transmit malware, or to probe, disrupt or misrepresent.
You grant Skyline a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy and store your submissions to respond to you, provide services, and as described in our Privacy Policy. Skyline is not obligated to respond to or act on any submission and may decline or discard submissions that misuse the forms. Suggestions or feedback about the Site or our services may be used by Skyline without obligation to you.
5. Carrier setup and electronic signatures
If you complete carrier setup, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to act for the carrier, that the carrier holds the operating authority and insurance it represents, and that all information you provide is true, complete and current. You agree to tell us promptly of any change in authority, insurance, ownership, contact details or remit-to information.
Submitting the carrier setup packet does not create a carrier relationship or obligate Skyline to tender any load. Skyline may verify information with FMCSA, insurers and other sources, may decline or end any carrier relationship, and may re-verify at every tender. Banking information is never collected on the Site and any change to remit-to or payment information is verified by Skyline before it takes effect.
You agree that typing your name and title and submitting the form, or checking a box to accept an agreement, is your electronic signature, has the same effect as a handwritten signature under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act and applicable state law, and binds the carrier to the agreement you accept. We record the date, time and IP address of the submission.
6. Job applications
Job postings on the Site describe open roles and are not offers of employment or contracts. Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview or employment. Any employment with Skyline is at will unless a written agreement signed by an authorized officer says otherwise. Applicant information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Chat assistant, tools and content
The chat assistant is automated and provides general information for convenience only. It cannot quote a binding rate, accept or tender a load, promise a pickup or delivery time, amend an agreement or make any commitment on Skyline's behalf, and nothing it says forms a contract.
Groundtruth, the carrier authority lookup and other tools on the Site present information from public sources such as OpenStreetMap routing, the National Weather Service and FMCSA. That information may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. Tools are provided for planning and general information only, and you are responsible for verifying information before relying on it, including legal size and weight limits, permits, hours of service and carrier status.
Articles, guides and other content on the Site are general information, not legal, tax, insurance, regulatory or professional advice. Rules change, so read the primary source before relying on it.
8. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- use the Site in violation of any law or regulation, or to commit or facilitate fraud, identity theft, double brokering or cargo theft;
- impersonate any person or company, including Skyline, a carrier or a shipper, or misrepresent your authority or affiliation;
- scrape, crawl, harvest or mine the Site or its data by automated means, except search engine indexing that follows our robots.txt;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, our servers or the employee resources area, or test or bypass security or rate limits;
- upload or transmit malware, or interfere with or overload the Site;
- copy, frame or mirror the Site, or remove proprietary notices.
9. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, photographs, logos, the Skyline name and marks, software and design, are owned by or licensed to Skyline and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and use the Site for your own business purposes. You may quote short excerpts of our articles with attribution and a link. All other rights are reserved.
If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice that meets the requirements of 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3) to [email protected], with the subject "Copyright notice".
10. Third-party services and links
The Site uses or links to services and websites operated by others, such as map, routing, weather and government data services, LinkedIn and industry sources. We do not control and are not responsible for them, and your use of them is governed by their terms.
11. Disclaimers
THE SITE, ITS CONTENT, TOOLS AND CHAT ASSISTANT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKYLINE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND ACCURACY. SKYLINE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT INFORMATION FROM PUBLIC SOURCES IS CURRENT OR CORRECT.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKYLINE AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY. SKYLINE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, and they do not limit any party's obligations under a Freight Agreement or the Platform Terms.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Skyline and its owners, officers, employees and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these Terms, your submissions, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or the rights of another.
14. Electronic communications
By submitting a form or emailing us, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, by email, phone or text message as described in our Privacy Policy, and agree that electronic notices satisfy any requirement that they be in writing. Text messaging terms, including how to opt out by replying STOP, are in our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and by applicable federal law. You and Skyline agree to try to resolve any dispute informally first by written notice to the other party, with 30 days to resolve it. Any dispute that is not resolved will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Washington, and you and Skyline consent to their jurisdiction and venue. To the extent permitted by law, any claim must be brought individually and not as a plaintiff or class member in a class or representative action, and you and Skyline waive any right to a jury trial.
16. General terms
These Terms, with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Skyline about the Site. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Headings are for convenience only.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Changes apply from that date. If you keep using the Site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
18. Contact and legal notices
Legal notices to Skyline must be sent to [email protected] and by mail to Skyline Transport Group LLC, Attn: Legal, 6110 NE 152nd Ave, Suite 101, Vancouver, Washington 98682. Questions: (360) 719-5660.
