1. Overview

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage that Skyline Transport Group LLC uses on shipskyline.com, and the outside services that load in your browser. It is part of our Privacy Policy.

The short version: the public Site sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no social media tracking pixels, and it does not follow you to other websites. The few items it uses are strictly necessary for features you ask for, so they do not require consent and there is no cookie banner.

2. What cookies and browser storage are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser and sends back on later visits. Local storage and session storage are similar features that let a page keep small amounts of information in your browser. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab; local storage stays until it is cleared. Information in local and session storage is not sent to our server automatically.

The Platform, when you are given access, uses its own strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and security. Those are described in the Platform Terms and shown in the Platform.

4. Outside services

Some pages load content from outside providers: Google Fonts, unpkg.com, CARTO and Esri map tiles, and, for Groundtruth, the Valhalla routing service and the National Weather Service. These requests send your IP address and standard browser information to the provider. As used on the Site, they are not used to set advertising cookies, but each provider's own policy governs what it receives.

5. What we do not use

No advertising or remarketing cookies.
No analytics tools such as Google Analytics, and no session recording.
No social media pixels or embedded social feeds. Links to LinkedIn are plain links.
No fingerprinting or cross-site tracking.

If we ever add an analytics or marketing tool, we will update this policy first, name the tool and what it collects, and ask for your consent where the law requires.

6. How to control cookies and storage

You can block or delete cookies and clear local and session storage in your browser settings, usually under privacy or site data. You can also clear data for shipskyline.com only. If you do, the Site will forget your language choice, an unsent form copy will be lost, and employees will need to sign in again. Everything else on the Site will keep working.

7. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

We do not sell or share personal information or use targeted advertising, so these signals do not change what the Site does. We honor Global Privacy Control as an opt-out request where the law requires.
