Terms of Service
Terms of service for shipskyline.com and for working with Skyline Transport Group, an asset-based carrier and licensed property broker.
Website terms of use.
These terms cover this website. They do not govern freight. That is the broker-shipper agreement or the broker-carrier agreement, whichever applies to you.
By using shipskyline.com you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. Nothing on this website is an offer to contract, a rate quote, or a binding commitment to move freight. A rate is a rate confirmation, issued and signed.
Truckload and LTL services are arranged under a broker-shipper agreement, and carrier obligations under a broker-carrier agreement. Where anything on this site conflicts with a signed agreement, the agreement controls. Skyline Transport Group hauls freight as a motor carrier and arranges it as a licensed property broker, both under the same family-owned company. Authority and insurance documentation is provided with every quote.
The assistant on this site is automated. It is labeled as automated in the chat window, and it is provided for convenience and general information only. It cannot quote a binding rate, accept a load, promise a pickup or delivery time, amend an agreement, or make any commitment on Skyline’s behalf, and nothing it says forms a contract. Its answers can be incomplete or out of date; confirm anything that matters with a person at (360) 719-5660 before relying on it. A rate or service commitment exists only in a rate confirmation or signed agreement issued by Skyline personnel. Do not enter sensitive personal or financial information into the chat, and do not submit another party’s information without authority to do so.
The resource hub on this site links to primary sources rather than restating them, because rules change without notice. Follow the link and read the rule at the publisher before relying on it for a real load. The Industry Insight articles are practitioner summaries, not legal advice.
The quote, contact, careers and carrier setup forms are for legitimate inquiries. Do not submit another party’s information without authority to do so, do not use the forms to send banking or payment instruction changes, and do not use them to probe, disrupt or misrepresent. We may decline or discard submissions that misuse the forms.
The content, wordmark and design of this site belong to Skyline Transport Group. The Industry Insight articles may be quoted with attribution and a link.
This website and its assistant are provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. To that same extent, Skyline Transport Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from use of this website or reliance on its content. Nothing in this section limits obligations under a signed freight agreement, which governs the freight itself, or liability that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, with venue in Clark County, Washington.
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with its date. Questions go to (360) 719-5660 or the contact form.
