What Skyline Transport Group collects from shippers and carriers, why, who it is shared with, and how long it is kept.

Skyline Transport Group. This page says what we collect on this website, why, and what we do with it. The honest answer is: not much, and nothing we sell.

Skyline Transport Group hauls freight as a motor carrier and arranges it as a licensed property broker, one family-owned company. Principal office: 6110 NE 152nd Ave Suite 101, Vancouver, Washington 98682, with offices in Sacramento, California and Austin, Texas. Privacy questions go to (360) 719-5660 or the contact form.

When you request a quote or contact us: your name, company, email, phone, and the shipment details you type in. When a carrier sets up with us: company and contact details, DOT and MC numbers, and insurance information. When you apply for a job: your resume and whatever you choose to tell us about your work history. Automatically: the standard server logs every website produces, meaning IP address, browser type and pages requested.

Every form on this site, including the ones inside the chat assistant, is delivered to our team as an email. Your submission includes the page it was sent from, your IP address and a timestamp, which is how we tell real inquiries from spam. The website itself keeps no database of form submissions. Job applications also go directly to our hiring inbox.

The assistant on this site is automated and scripted, and it runs entirely in your browser. It does not use an outside AI service, and your conversation is not sent to or stored on our servers. When you close the window, the conversation is gone. The one exception is a form you choose to submit inside the chat, which travels the same email path as every other form on the site. Please do not type Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, or other sensitive personal information into the chat; the assistant will ask you not to, and we do not need them to quote freight.

Existing customers sign in to a portal to track shipments and documents. Portal credentials and the shipment records behind them live in our transportation management system and are used for one thing: running your freight. Portal access questions go to your Skyline rep or (360) 719-5660.

To quote and arrange shipments, onboard and verify carriers, respond to inquiries, consider job applications, and send service communications about your shipments. We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Carriers and vendors as needed to move and track a shipment. Service providers who run our website hosting, email and phone systems, under confidentiality obligations. Insurers, auditors and legal counsel where required for claims or compliance. Authorities where the law requires it. That is the whole list.

If you give us a mobile number, we may text about your active shipments. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. We do not send marketing texts without separate consent.

This site sets only the cookies and browser storage it needs to function: a session cookie and a record that you dismissed the cookie note. No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no cross-site tracking, and the site does not follow you anywhere else. Because everything the site sets is strictly necessary, there is no consent banner and nothing to opt out of. If we ever add an analytics tool, this section will name it and say what it collects before it runs.

Quote and shipment records are kept as long as business, tax, insurance and regulatory purposes require, then deleted or anonymized. Inquiry emails that never become business are deleted within a reasonable period. Applicant materials are kept while a role is open and for a reasonable period after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Call (360) 719-5660 or use the contact form to ask what we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to opt out of any marketing. We honor these requests for every visitor regardless of state, unless the law requires us to keep a record. Some states grant specific privacy rights by statute; our practice is to extend the same treatment to everyone rather than sort requests by ZIP code.

Access to personal information is restricted to the people who need it, with safeguards appropriate to our size. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we will not pretend otherwise.

This is a business site. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Updates get posted here with a new effective date. If a change is material, the dateline will say so.
